itistitle is a free tool for writing a title and turning it into a finished design: a YouTube thumbnail, reel cover, Instagram post, LinkedIn or X image or a Pinterest pin. You write or generate a title, pick a style from dozens of designed templates, adjust it, and download a PNG.

No. There is no sign-up. Your work is kept in your own browser so a refresh doesn’t lose it.

Yes. You can create and download designs for free, with no watermark.

On the Create page you describe your idea, who it’s for and the tone you want. itistitle gives you several title options you can pick from, edit or ignore. You can also skip suggestions and type your own title.

Yes. On a phone the editor groups settings into tabs at the bottom (Template, Text, Colour, Background, Add image). You can drag text and pictures with your finger.

YouTube thumbnail (1280 × 720), reel/story cover (1080 × 1920), square post (1080 × 1080), Instagram portrait (1080 × 1350), LinkedIn/Facebook link post (1200 × 630), X post (1600 × 900) and Pinterest pin (1000 × 1500). Switch format any time from the Template tab; your text and settings stay.

In the editor, open the Text tab and choose a font from the list under “Title font”. There are 22 fonts in groups: Serif, Sans, Display, Handwritten, Arabic and Malayalam. The Size slider makes the text larger or smaller.

Open the Colour tab. You can pick a ready-made palette for your template, or set the Background, Text and Accent colours yourself with the colour picker or a hex code such as #062443. A contrast rating tells you whether the text will be easy to read.

In the editor, open the Template tab. Pick a different template and your text stays. You can filter by style: Editorial, Minimal, Bold creator, Cinematic, Business or Playful.

In the Text tab, use the Alignment buttons. Some templates have a fixed layout where alignment matters less.

Yes. Drag the title directly on the preview, or click it and use the arrow keys (hold Shift for bigger steps). In the “Add image” tab, “Reset position” puts it back.

Open the Background tab and upload a JPG, PNG or WebP (up to 15 MB), or drop one onto the preview. It becomes the background. Use Zoom and the position sliders to frame it, and the Overlay slider to make text readable on top.

Yes. Open the “Add image” tab and choose “+ Add text” for an extra line of text, or “Add image” to add a logo, a face cut-out or a sticker (PNG with a transparent background works best). Drag them into place, then resize, rotate and fade them with the sliders. You can add up to 8 layers.

Yes. Use the Undo and Redo buttons above the preview, or press Ctrl/⌘ + Z and Ctrl/⌘ + Shift + Z. “Reset” returns the template’s own look but keeps your words and photo.

Press the Download PNG button above the preview. The file is exported at the full size of the format you chose, for example 1280 × 720 for a YouTube thumbnail.

Downloads are PNG at full platform size, which keeps text crisp. JPG and transparent-background exports are not available yet; most platforms convert your PNG automatically.

Yes. What you create is yours. The fonts included are open-source (Google Fonts, SIL Open Font License), which permits commercial use. Make sure you own the rights to any photos or logos you add.

Your text and settings are saved in your browser automatically, and your photo is kept in your browser’s storage too. If you clear site data or use a private window, they’ll be removed. Download your design when you’re happy with it.

No. Photos and images are processed on your device and never sent to our server. See the Privacy page for details.

Yes. Choose one of the Arabic fonts (Cairo, Tajawal or Noto Kufi Arabic) in the Text tab. Arabic is set right to left with connected letters. You can mix Arabic and English in the same design.

Malayalam is supported with the Noto Sans Malayalam font. Arabic and Latin scripts (English, French, Spanish, German and more) work too. More scripts may be added.

Refresh the page first (your work is saved). If a download fails, try again or use a different browser such as the latest Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox. If it still doesn’t work, send us a note through the contact form and we’ll help.
